  • Application of Levers and Laws of Motion: Scientific principles that help in minimizing strain when lifting or moving patients.
  • Impact of Incorrect Handling: How poor techniques can harm both patients and caregivers and how to avoid these situations.

  • Physical Fitness: The importance of caregiver fitness to perform patient handling tasks safely.

  • Duration: The course is delivered in a half-day classroom session, ensuring that it fits into busy work schedules while still delivering comprehensive training.
  • Maximum Participants: 10 trainees per session for personalized instruction and hands-on practice.

Certification

Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive an official Ayrton Group Patient Handling Certificate, demonstrating their competency in safe patient handling techniques and compliance with health and safety standards.
