Consultancy Overview

A Project Supervisor for the Construction Stage (PSCS) is responsible for the overall safety of the construction site. When this role is required for a project, we assume the responsibility of the role and oversee the construction stage to ensure the safety and security of the site.

Consultancy Programme

  • Liaise with the Health and  Safety Authority (HSA);

  • Coordinate the construction stage with the design team, the PSDP, contractors, and other project stakeholders;

  • Prepare the Construction Stage Health and Safety Plan;

  • Ensure Risk Assessments are prepared in accordance with the HSA requirements;

  • Co-ordinate the implementation of temporary works;

  • Provide ongoing assistance to the construction teams;

  • Take account of the Safety Statement and other work activities taking place on-site;

  • Monitor health and safety on-site and ensure accidents are reported;

  • Ensure only persons with CSCS or Safe Pass cards are permitted on-site;

  • Keep a record of all persons  on-site;

  • Co-ordinate welfare facilities.
