A Project Supervisor for the Design Process (PSDP) is responsible for the safety and health of the design elements of the project. When this role is required for a project, we assume the responsibility of the role and oversee the project’s construction design to ensure it is safe through the process.
Liaise with the Health and Safety Authority (HSA);
Coordinate the design process with the architects, engineers and other project stakeholders;
Prepare the Preliminary Health and Safety Plan;
Ensure Design Risk Assessments are prepared in accordance with the HSA requirements;
Co- ordinate Temporary Work Certificates (TWC);
Provide ongoing assistance to the design and construction teams.
