A Project Supervisor for the Design Process (PSDP) plays a pivotal role in safeguarding the health and safety of a project’s design elements.   • Liaise with the Health and  Safety Authority (HSA).

  • Coordinate the design process with the architects, engineers and other project stakeholders.

  • Prepare the Preliminary Health and Safety Plan.

  • Ensure Design Risk Assessments are prepared in accordance with the HSA requirements.

  • Co- ordinate Temporary Work Certificates (TWC).

  • Provide ongoing assistance to the design and construction teams.
